Our main office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The main office is usually closed for the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Martin King, Jr. Day
- Good Friday
- Memorial Day
- Fourth of July
- Labor Day
- Columbus Day
- Thanksgiving and the day after
- Veterans Day
- Christmas and the day after
However, specific programs operate on some of these holidays.
No, except for two programs:
(1) Adult Day Services, where the costs are usually covered by other programs the participants are in (such as from the VA, Medicaid, etc.) or provided for with grants; and
(2) Residential Services – Please contact the administrators for these programs if you are interested but cannot pay; there may be grants available.
Along the side of the main office, there is a visitor lot exclusively for SHORE UP! Inc.’s customers. You may also park in any spot that is not marked “Staff Parking.”
SHORE UP! is a non-profit organization whose funding primarily comes from federal grants and state grants. We also receive funding from local governments and private foundations, as well as donations. See one of the Annual Reports under Newsroom for more details.
Usually. Some programs have limits on how many times they can serve someone in a certain time period, but please apply again if you need further assistance.
Absolutely not. Any information about you or your family is strictly confidential and only accessible to staff who need to get that information in order to assist you.
A Community Action Partnership is a non-profit association that advocates for Maryland’s low-income families to ensure their voice is heard at the local, state, and national levels.
