SHORE Up Inc. provides assistance with preparing for, finding and maintaining employment. SHORE UP! Inc. works closely with community partners like Wor-Wic Community College, Deer’s Head Nursing Home, and local job placement agencies to provide a comprehensive program for employment and workforce development. Job readiness skills training include resume writing, dress code, and interview techniques. Finding employment is done with the assistance of an assigned case manager; a partnership with community agencies; and follow up with participants on regular intervals of 30, 60, 90 and 180 days after employment has been secured.
