SHORE UP! Inc. is seeking 3 individuals for a grant position that ends December 30, 2020, which may be extended.  The 3 COVID-19 Screener/Data Entry Workers will:

  • Utilize a no-contact temperature screening station and screening questionnaire to screen all employees and visitors entering the building.
  • Ensure all employees and visitors are wearing face coverings upon entering the building.
  • Maintain a detailed log of employees and visitors entering the building.
  • Manage proper and routine sterilization of the screening station/screening area.
  • Assist the SHORE UP! Inc. Home Energy Program by assisting individuals requesting energy assistance.
  • Collect all pertinent information from the individuals requesting energy assistance.
  • Perform related data entry and create/run reports.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of 2 years of data entry experience and former computer training.

  • Reconciles bank statements.

Collaborates with the Head Start Program Director to ensure successful operation of the center, quality education standards for participants and adherence to Head Start/Early Head Start policies, procedures and requirements.

  • Performs administrative duties that contribute to effective day-to-day program operations.  This includes staff work schedules, utilization of substitute staff, daily site walk-through observations, information technology utilization/needs and fire inspections.  Also completes health and safety, ERSEA, Family Service and information technology reports.
  • Collaborates to ensure physical, intellectual, social and emotional needs of each child are met.
  • Monitors, records and analyzes child behavior and progress for program planning and referrals.
  • Ensures efficient meal planning that includes quality menus in accordance to CACFP standards
  • Monitors home visits, contact notes, written family goals and transition plans/surveys.
  • Conducts monthly meetings with Family Service staff, custodians, cooks, social workers, nurses and nutritionist.  Provides parent/staff meeting oversight.
  • Coordinates inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Provides volunteer oversight.

Description

The Intake/Data Entry Worker collects and inputs data into a computer. Other job responsibilities include: meeting with various clients to obtain pertinent information, which is then accurately/timely entered via data entry afterwards. This information is also tracked via intake logs.  The Intake/Data Entry Worker must also create and run related reports as needed.  They will also assist in the preparation of agency grant applications, and conduct outreach to recruit eligible program customers.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2 years of prior related experience.  Formal computer training is preferred.

Responsible for the planning and implementation of daily classroom curriculum activities for a group of up to 20 children, 3 and 4 years old. The Head Start teacher must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any field and 25 credits in Early Childhood Education, or an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and one year of preschool experience. The teacher may also have an Associate’s degree in Early Education, Child Development, Special Ed, Human Development/Ecology, Child & Studies, Psychology – birth to 8, Social Work-birth to 8, and 18 credits in Early Childhood Education.
