The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and prior related experience. Candidates must have a good driving record with zero points, while possessing a Class B CDL driver’s license with P and S endorsements. Additionally, they must possess and maintain valid First Aid and CPR Certifications. The candidate must pass a criminal background investigation, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and medical examination, and attend DHR orientation. They must also be highly dependable and relate well to pre-school children and adults, have emotional maturity and stability, calmness and good judgment during crisis situations.

Assist the Teacher in the performance of daily classroom activities and duties to prepare the children for school readiness. The Teacher’s Aide must possess a High School Diploma or GED, and Child Care I & II. Teacher’s Aides must also be willing to enroll in courses and/or training, in addition to having one year of teaching experience. Training is provided for CDA Credentials. Candidates must pass a criminal background check prior to employment.
