The Two Generation Project allows SHORE UP! to assist families in combatting intergenerational poverty, moving towards achieving self-sufficiency.
The Two Generation approach includes case-workers individualizing services to families by assessing family strengths and needs, identifying target areas, developing family goals and objectives, and assessing family progress.
This approach focuses on three priorities achieved through community events, one-on-one counseling, community partnerships, workshops, and more. The three priorities are: families achieving self-sufficiency through education and work, building family wealth through financial literacy, and supporting children’s success through early learning.
