SHORE UP! Inc. operates subsidized housing units in Somerset County. Loretta Village I and II are elderly housing units, comprised of senior citizens 62 years of age or older. Loretta Village I and II is funded by Housing and Urban Development.
Loretta Village Multi-Family is often referred to as Loretta Village Apartments. Anyone at least 18 years old may live in these multi-family units. The program is under Rural Development.
LV I consists of 20 one-bedroom units; Loretta Village II includes 10 one-bedroom units, and Loretta Village Apartments is comprised of 32 units, including eight one-bedrooms, eight two-bedrooms and 16 three-bedroom apartments.
Individuals interested in applying for housing need to complete an application and provide all required documents at the time of application submission. Applications are time-stamped and placed on a waiting list.
