SHORE UP!’s Residential Services program offers a wide variety of services for the homebound chronically ill or disabled residents of Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset counties. The services are designed to prevent or delay the institutionalization of these individuals by helping caregivers to keep them at home.
Residential services are broken down into four categories: personal care like daily grooming, oral hygiene, feeding, dressing, and mobility assistance; chores such as meal planning and preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping; and finally respite care, or the supervision of disabled adults or children in the absence of the caretaker.
Anyone residing in Wicomico, Worcester, or Somerset counties and in need of assistance at home may take advantage of residential services.
